Our research group is internationally known for comprehensive, objective, and scientifically rigorous assessments of the impact of technology on human performance, including proactive assessment of emerging technologies still in the planning stages.
We are committed to nonpartisan evaluations of the impact of educational technologies on students’ ability to perform and learn well in different contexts. We are interested in ensuring that educational technologies improve the learning opportunities and lives of all people. These goals include identifying which technologies narrow the achievement gaps and related “digital divides” between different student groups.
We design and evaluate digital paper and pen interfaces that stimilate "thinking on paper" and idea generation.
